About

Following the successful implementation of previous African Buyers Tour Programme (ABTP) missions under theAfrican Buyers Programme (ABP), Afreximbank is pleased to invite qualified African buyers to express their interest in participating in the 4th Edition of the African Buyers Tour Programme (ABTP), which will take place at the ARISE Integrated Industrial Platform (PIA), Togo, on 26–27 August 2026.
The African Buyers Tour Programme is designed to connect African buyers directly with manufacturers operating within Africa's industrial parks and Special Economic Zones, providing firsthand access to production facilities, product quality, manufacturing capabilities, and new sourcing opportunities that support intra-African trade.
This edition will focus on manufacturers operating in the following sectors:
  • Garments & Apparel
  • Aluminium Profiles
  • Polypropylene Bags
If your business is actively sourcing products within these sectors—or you are looking to diversify your supply chain by sourcing directly from African manufacturers—we encourage you to express your interest in participating.
The programme will provide selected buyers with the opportunity to:
  • Visit manufacturing facilities and assess production capacity and quality standards.
  • Participate in pre-arranged business-to-business (B2B) meetings with manufacturers aligned to their sourcing requirements.
  • Explore long-term sourcing, OEM, private-label, and distribution opportunities.
  • Build commercial relationships with verified manufacturers.
  • Gain firsthand insight into one of Africa's fastest-growing industrial manufacturing ecosystems.
To ensure productive business engagements, all expressions of interest will be reviewed based on each company's business profile, sourcing requirements, and alignment with the participating manufacturers. This process will enable Afreximbank, ARISE IIP, and the manufacturers to prepare targeted meetings and maximize the value of the mission for participating buyers.
Please note that participation in the programme is on a self-sponsored basis.
