Erica Motley Dupuis Bio
Erica Motley Dupuis is a global leader in scripted entertainment with over two decades of experience in film financing, international acquisitions, and packaging. A Harvard MBA and former banker, she began her entertainment career at HBO, later holding senior roles at Fox Kids, BMG, and Shine International. As head of international acquisitions at UIP and K5, she championed standout films like The Reluctant Fundamentalist and Vehicle 19. Erica was an early pioneer of applying indie film packaging to TV, serving as Executive Producer on FX/BBC’s Taboo and HBO’s African anime Iyanu. A mentor and educator, she has shaped talent at Sundance, Johns Hopkins, and the Media Business School. She now leads African-led animation, film, series, and games at Impact X Studio.
