He only trusted organic body care products, often using handmade shea butter, organic cocoa butter, coconut oil, castor oil, and honey in their purest forms to nurture and protect his family’s skin. We were raised to value the wisdom of the earth and organic skincare products made in Ghana, and I can still remember the soothing scent of palm kernel oil as he used it to dress our wounds, teaching us that nature’s remedies were effective and reliable.
